Define the mechanical requirement

Lightweight construction can improve handling, particularly at larger diameters, but weight should be considered with stiffness, dimensional stability, durability and the dynamic behaviour expected at production speed.
Control fit, runout and vibration
Total indicated runout and parallelism affect the rotating print geometry. An adaptor that fits consistently and resists deformation helps the printing sleeve maintain a stable relationship to the mandrel.
Vibration or bouncing can become visible at speed, especially with demanding graphics or certain repeat relationships. Materials, wall construction, balancing, press condition and the complete sleeve stack should be evaluated together.
